University of Warsaw Career Office and Initiative “Applied Linguistics Students in the Labour Market” (Faculty of Applied Linguistics, UW) are organizing the Language Career Fair on March 5 and 6, 2024, at the building located at 55 Dobra Street. We are convinced that this is the best location for our target group, namely students with strong language skills.
The aim of our initiative is to create a space where young people entering the labour market will have the opportunity to meet with representatives of companies, familiarize themselves with career offers, and learn about real employment opportunities through knowledge of foreign languages and the specifics of other cultures. We would like to acquaint students with companies that are often overlooked or excluded by them as potential employers due to the nature of their business and the lack of students’ knowledge about their internal structure and need for employees. Career offers presented at the Language Career Fair should be primarily dedicated to students of language and cultural studies.
